Mark Ellmore, age 54, of Smyrna, TN died Friday, September 21, 2012. A native of Covington, IN he was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Sue Spivey Ellmore and his nephew Peter Crosier. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 2:00PM at Highland Heights Church of Christ. Brother Wayne Cornwell will officiate. Visitation with the family will begin an hour before the service. Mr. Ellmore is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sue Hardaway Ellmore; son, Adam Ellmore of Nashville, TN; daughters and sons in law Katie Parker and her husband Brooks of Antioch, TN and Diane Throgmorton and her husband Steven of Clarksville, TN; father, Mark Alfred Ellmore Sr. of White House, TN; sisters and brothers in law, Carolyn Taylor and her husband Jon of Nashville and Mary Pat Tedder and her husband James of Smyrna; nieces, Kristin Cofoid, Tricia Tedder, Alicia Tedder and Hannah Hardaway and nephews, Steven Hardaway and Bryan Hardaway. Mr. Ellmore was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ in Smyrna. He was a graduate of David Lipscomb University and a 1985 graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law. Mr. Ellmore operated his own law practice in Nashville, TN for over 25 years. Memorials can be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or to the Lawrence Gardner Benevolent Fund at Highland Heights Church of Christ or the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief.
