Mark Dozier, age 61 of Lascassas, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017. He was a native of Rutherford County and a son of the late Billy Lee and Hazel Marie Oglesby Dozier. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Dozier.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Anita Dozier; a daughter, Jennifer Green of Lascassas; grandchildren, Eric and Sabrina Hanna and Gabriel Powell; brothers, Don Bogle and wife Sandra of Knoxville, Dan Bogle and wife Sandy of Murfreesboro, John Riser and wife Jacquey of Marion, NC, Jim Riser and wife Wanda of Murfreesboro, Roger Riser and wife Debbie of Liberty, and Russell Riser and wife Margot of Christiana; and a sister, Connie Hutchison and husband Billy of Lascassas; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dozier was a graduate of Oakland High School and retired from Square D after 29 years of service. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed Murfreesboro recreational league softball and woodworking.

Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of memorial services beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
