Marion Valerio-Hume age 96 of Murfreesboro passed away Monday November 3, 2014. A native of Morris, Illinois she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Alice Baker Southcombe. She is also preceded in death by husbands; Leslie P. Valerio,and Albert Hume, sisters; Lorraine Tschappet, Winifred Berkland, brother; Bruce Southcombe; and infant grandchild Leslie P. Valerio. Funeral services will be 10:30am Saturday at St. Lukes Catholic Church 10682 Old Nashville Highway. Father Francis Valerio and Father Jacob Dio will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens in Forrest City, Florida at a later date. Mrs. Valerio-Hume is survived by her children; son; Leslie M. Valerio and his wife Jo of Smyrna, daughters; Catherine "Kay" Reed and her husband Donald of Haines City, Florida, Marion Tonne and her husband Edwin of Murfreesboro, son; George Valerio and his wife Jo Anne of Umatilla, Florida, 23 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Charles Southcombe and his wife Babe of Morris, Illinois, sisters; Janis White of Bourbanais, Illinois, and Doris Pfeifer and her husband Donald of Coal City, Illinois, and her step children; Barb Hume-Boma and her husband Jim of Morris, Illinois, Jim Hume and his wife Pam of Coal City, Illinois, Mike Hume and his wife Stephanie, and Robert Hume and his wife Jeanne all of Stockton, California.
