Marion L. Rogers age 82 of Murfreesboro, passed away Sunday October 6, 2013 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was a native of Franklin County and the son of the late Thomas G. and Mary Tarpley Rogers. Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife; Patsy Morton Rogers, son; Guy Rogers of Murfreesboro, brother; Douglas Rogers of Chattanooga, and two grandchildren; Elli Rogers, and Carson Rogers of Murfreesboro. Mr. Rogers was a member of First Baptist Church and was retired from General Electric. He was a graduate of Franklin County High School and from M.T.S.U. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Reverends Noel Schoonmaker and Pam Pilote will officiate.
