Marion Hamilton McFolin, age 86, of Murfreesboro passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. She was a native of White River Junction, VT and the daughter of the late Joseph and Doris Lahar Hamilton. She was also preceded in death by the father of her children, Ret. Col. Olin E. McFolin.

Memorial service will be 11:00am Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Lascassas Baptist Church with Dr. Kenneth Summey officiating. Private burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by her children, John McFolin of Murfreesboro, Melinda Olmedo and husband Manuel of Tustin, California, Renee Whealen and husband Matthew of Oak Park, California; grandchildren, Melissa, Matthew, Rebecca and Jake; brother, Albert Hamilton of Lakeland, Florida.

Mrs. McFolin was a member of Lascassas Baptist Church and a US Air Force Nurse having served in Korea. She later continued nursing and teaching until her retirement.
