MARION FLYNN, age 79 of Smyrna died Friday April 23, 2010. He was born in Madisonville KY and was a native of Hopkinsville KY. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Jean Flynn, grandson, Brian Flynn and parents William Dayton and Laura Miller Flynn. Mr. Flynn was a member of Miracle Baptist Church in LaVergne and was retired from the United States Air Force, and the State of Tennessee. He was a member of Sam Davis Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife; Rae Menser Flynn; sons Bruce Flynn and his wife Barbara, Mike Flynn and his wife, Jean; daughters Sandy Coe, and her husband Marty, Donna Lee and her husband, Gerry; grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Jason, and Chad Flynn, Dana Scraggins, Amber and Tyler Coe and Geoffrey Lee; great-grandchildren, Kaine Scott, Cameron Flynn and Landon Scraggins; sisters, Frances Gresham of KY, Carline Karachak of PA, brothers, Miles Flynn and his wife Stella of KY, and Andy Flynn and his wife Margaret of PA, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10:00AM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Bro. Carl Scarlett and bro, Todd Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.
