Marie Hood Richardson, age 88, of Lascassas passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. She was a native of Clay County, TN and the daughter of the late William Henry and Lillian Evans Hood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willard Richardson who died in 2010 and two infant sisters, Mary Geneva Hood and Chloe Valier Hood.

Funeral service will be 10:00am Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Ralph Richardson will officiate. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by two nieces, Patsy and Angela Davis, one nephew, Chad Davis, all of Lascassas and several cousins.

Mrs. Richardson was a member of Sharpsville Church of Christ and employed by A.I.E. Magnetics in Nashville for 32 years until her retirement in 1986.
