Mrs. Marie Ratley, age 78, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017. She was born in the Kittrell Community to the late George Washington and Francis Marie Woodruff Herrod. Mrs. Ratley worked in purchasing for Pillsbury and faithfully attended Sharpsville Church of Christ.

Mrs. Ratley is survived by her son, Victor Ratley and his wife Dianne of Shelbyville, TN; daughter, Carla Marston and her husband Kirk of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Josey, Stephen, and Vickie; nephew, Alan Brown; and long-time companion, Ed Ratley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steve Ratley, and her sisters, Barbara Brown and Jo Pope.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, January 9, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Pastor Kenneth Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
