Marie Gaddy Moore, age 89 of Smyrna died Tuesday October 15, 2024. She was a native of Paris, TN and was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin O'Neal Gaddy, and Sallie Bell McGee Gaddy; sister, Laura Gaddy Williams,

Mrs. Moore was member of First Presbyterian Church in Smyrna. She moved to Nashville to attend Secretarial School and worked for National Life and Casualty in Nashville. Mrs. Moore had worked at Smyrna First United Methodist Pre-School for many years. She was a retired Secretary with First Baptist Church in Smyrna. Mrs. Moore and her husband traveled on many trips across the county by tour bus with other senior citizens.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John Edward Moore; children, Steve Moore and wife Belinda, Mark Moore and wife Angie; daughter, Elizabeth Moore Lamb and husband John; granddaughter, Olivia Marie Lamb; sister, JoAnn Ward.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Smyrna.
