Marian Josephine McGuire, age 99 of Rockvale, died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at NHC Place at Cool Springs. She was a native of Saratoga Township, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Sampson Oswood. She was also preceded in death by her husband John Atkinson McGuire and a daughter Patricia Ann McDowell. Mrs. McGuire is survived by a daughter Cheri Robinson and her husband Veryl of Rockvale; a son Michael McGuire and his wife Mary of Kansas City, Kansas; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and retired as a banking manager. Local arrangements are under the direction of Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
