Maria Susan Weisz Smotherman, age 59 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday July 23, 2019. She was a native of Rutherford Co. and was the daughter of the late, Carl and Bennie Herron Weisz. Mrs. Smotherman was retired from MTMC and worked at Trininty Presbyterian Church Pre-School.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Kenneth Ray Smotherman; son, William Todd Smotherman and daughter-in-law, Brandy; grandchildren Branden Todd Smotherman, and River Tallen Smotherman.

Visitation will be 4PM to 8PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 10AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Roy Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
