Maria Cuccia Bizzell, age 77, of Woodbury, Tennessee died Saturday, May 11, 2024. She was born and lived most of her life in Memphis, Tennessee and was a nurse before retiring to Woodbury.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Vincent Cuccia and Loretta Mary Huck Cuccia, as well as her sister, Ursula Hannaford and a granddaughter, Hannah Sanders.

She is survived by her children, Tena Bailey (Frank) and Monica Sanders (Ben Cunningham); as well as her grandchildren, Taylor Nichoalds (Kristin Baltimore), Savannah Manning (Matt), and Tyler Bailey (Marie); and her great-granddaughter, Riley Bailey.

We, the family, would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Adams Place Rehab for the kindness and care they provided to our mother.

Memorials in memory of Maria may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
