MARGARET WATKINS TODD age 90 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Tuesday December 21, 2010. A native of Lawrenceburg, TN, she was the daughter of the late Herschel Bryan and Mayme Craig Watkins. Mrs. Todd is survived by sons, Charles Vernon Todd, Jr. and wife Mary of Virginia Beach, VA, Michael Craig Todd and wife Diane of Griffin, GA; daughters, Patricia Ann Todd Nelson and husband Wayne of Murfreesboro, TN, and Carole Todd Chavis of Jacksonville, FL; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday January 15, 2011 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Eugene Cotey officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Todd was a member of First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was married to the late Charles Vernon Todd, Sr. who died in 2005. Because of her love for reading, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Linebaugh Library or the First Baptist Church Library in memory of Mrs. Todd. A heartfelt thank you goes to the wonderful caregivers who took care of her through the years: JoAnn, Debbie, Kim, Patricia, Toni, and the R.A.s at Sunnington. Your love helped her to get up each morning and have a good day. Her quality of life was much better because of you.
