MARGARET MAE SOMES WATKINS, age 83, of Smyrna, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009. She was a native of Canada and the daughter of the late Robert and Frances McCauley Somes. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Watkins. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday at Woodfin Chapel. Smyrna. Bro. Terry Campbell will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John D. and Elizabeth Watkins of Smyrna, daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret Peggy and David Tucker of Smyrna, Janette and John Dyer of Atlanta, brothers, Jack Somes of Roscommon, MI, Wayne Somes of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada, sisters, Enid West, Norma Oleniuk, and Pauline Saul, all of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, 7 grandchildren, Shelley Tucker Davis (Michael), Michelle Watkins Snyder (Jeff), Amy Tucker (Mark Duke), Susan Watkins Johnson, Jon C. Dyer (Angela) Jeremy P. Dyer, and John C. Watkins, 7 great grandchildren, Jeffrey M. Snyder, Meghan E. Snyder, Sabrina Kelley Spicer, Hallie Belle Davis, Julia Daisy Dyer, Christopher Logan Dyer, and David Presley Tucker. Mrs. Watkins was a homemaker and member of the United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be David R. Tucker, Michael B. Davis, Jon C. Dyer, Jeremy P. Dyer, Jeff A. Snyder, Bill Templeton, and Mark Duke. Honorary Pallbearers are John C. Watkins, John P.
