Margaret Peggy Warren McDonald, age 91 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Lund, UT, grew up in Miami, FL, and Portsmouth, VA, but spent most of her life travelling the world with her husband, a Lt. Col. in the United States Air Force. She moved to Murfreesboro in 1974 when Lt. Col. McDonald retired from the Air Force. Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her parents, John Daniel and Eva Isora Lamb Warren, her loving husband of 68 years, Robert J. McDonald, a daughter Arline J. Graves, and son-in-law Robert Graves. She was also preceded in death by a sister Jeanette Davison and brothers Lyndol, Hartwell, and Buist Warren. Mrs. McDonald is survived by her daughter Darlyne M. Pieper and son-in-law E. Jeffrey Pieper of Basking Ridge, NJ, and her grandsons Robert and David Pieper. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Woodfin Funeral Chapel with Horace Stogner officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Jeffrey, Robert, and David Pieper, Bob and Tom Warren, and Paul Shaver serving as pallbearers.
