Margaret Prevatt Rucker, age 91, died Saturday, June 28,2008.Shewas preceded in death by her parents, Esther and Joseph Prevatt; brother, J.B. Prevatt; sister, RuthFerendino; and husband, EllisS.Rucker, Jr.Margaret is survived by her son, John R. Rucker II; daughter, Patricia R. Jernigan; grandchildren: Julianne (Jeff) Bratcher, Jonathan Rucker, Joey Rucker, andJames Rucker; and great-grandchildren: Justin Walker, Brandon Walker, Zane Bratcher and Braxton Rucker. Margaret graduated from Peabody College; then received a Master's degree in Psychology from MTSU.She taught inMurfreesboro City Schools for 30 years.After retirement, Margaret instructed ballroom dancing at MTSU Continuing Education program.
