Margaret Louise Murray Jones, age 96, of the Murray Community died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at her home. She was born in Rutherford County to the late Tom B. and Kate Dill Murray. She was preceded in death by her husband James Howard Jones who died May 26, 2009, and her brother, James Davis Murray and sister Sara Katherine Murray.

She is survived by her five children; daughters, Carolyn Jones, Sara Ann and her husband James Ray Gannon, Nina Kate Endsley, sons, Jimmy and his wife Carole Jones, Thomas and his wife Robin Jones all of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Tommy Jones, Timmy Jones, Terry Jones, Rachel and her husband Jeff Teal, Nathan and his wife Amy Jones, Jeremy and his wife Catrynia Gannon, Kristi Gannon, and Craig Endsley; great grandchildren, Nicole Jones, Ben and Aubree Kate Teal. A special thank you to Jennifer Patel who assisted with her care.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the Rock Hill Church of Christ where she attended until she became disabled. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother who also adored her three great grandchildren. She was care-giver to her parents, brother, sister, and husband. She was sweet and kind and cared for her family without complaining. She will be truly missed.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be sent to the Rock Hill Church of Christ building fund.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM with visitation an hour before the service at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Dilton Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Bro. Jimmy Wright will officiate.
