Mrs. Margaret Lynn Goodwin, age 83, of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021. She was born in Williamson County, TN to the late Barney and Obera Anderson Carroll. Mrs. Goodwin retired as the secretary for Metro Schools Board of Education after 20 years. During her retirement, she enjoyed riding Harleys with her husband, painting shirts, and gardening.

Mrs. Goodwin is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frank Goodwin; son, Mike Goodwin and his wife Renee of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren, Nikki Goodwin and Leslie Goodwin; and great-grandchildren, Weston Wentworth, Skyler Smithson, and Katie Towry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Gerald Goodwin and Dwayne Goodwin.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
