Margaret Ella Fann, age 73, of Murfreesboro, TN died Wednesday, October 31, 2012. A native of Williamson County she was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Thomas Smithson and Rose Mai Hood Smithson; her sisters Ruby Lillard and Mary Childress and her brothers Henry Smithson Jr. and Jackie Smithson. A graveside service will be held Friday at 1:00PM at Evergreen Cemetery. Brother W.D. Thomason will officiate. Mrs. Fann is survived by her husband, Hayes Fann; son, Terry Fann and his wife Vicki of Murfreesboro; daughter Tammy Davis and her husband David of Ponte Vedra Beach FL; sister, Faye Stafford and her husband Jimmy of Franklin, TN and her brother, Ronnie Smithson of FL; and her grandchildren, Drew Fann attending Vanderbilt University, Chase Fann attending the University of Tennessee, Jeremy Davis attending Belmont University and Melissa Davis attending Hillsong College of Sydney, Australia. Mrs. Fann was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She was a volunteer with the Crisis Pregnancy Center and was a former leader with the Bible Study Fellowship. Drew Fann, Chase Fann, Jeremy Davis, Brandon Garrison, Tyler Garrison and Scotty Garrison will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Murfreesboro Crisis Pregnancy Center (745 South Church Street Murfreesboro, TN 37130) or with the Alzheimers Association (4825 Trousdale Dr., Ste 220.
