Margaret "Peggy" Ann Eckardt, age 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 23, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones. Peggy is preceded by her parents, Isabelle and Albert Bushie, and her daughter, Kathleen Eckardt.

Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, John "Jack" Eckardt and their two surviving children Kevin (Suzanne) Eckardt and Karin (John) Gleason. Peggy will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Regina (Lance) Meadows and John (Rachel) Gleason, her great grandchildren, Grant and Lillian Meadows, and her siblings, Mary Ellen (Edward) DiPonzio, Marcia (David) Zogg, Mark (Gen) Bushie, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 7, 2018 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Smyrna, Tennessee. Visitation is at 10:00 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at a later date in Naperville, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peggy's name to the American Cancer Society.
