Malcolm Warden Williams, Jr. , age 81 of LaVergne, TN, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019. A native of Columbia, TN, he was the son of the late Malcolm Warden Williams, Sr. and Elora Hill Williams. Mr. Williams was also preceded in death by brothers, Murray L. Williams, David Williams, and Clyde Williams; sisters, Mildred Williams and Shirley Palmer.

Mr. Williams is survived by his sons, Malcolm Warden Williams, III, and Marshall Warwick Williams both of LaVergne, TN; daughters, Sheila Rena Taylor of Smyrna, TN, Sherry Robin Merritt of Murfreesboro, TN, and Shannon Rebecca Williams of Nunnelly, TN ; brothers, James Arling Williams of Las Vegas, NV and Charles Williams of Columbia, TN; sisters, Juanita Buie and Kathy Johnson both of Columbia, TN; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday May 2, 2019 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, TN. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday with military honors at Middle Tennessee State Veterans in Pegram, TN.

Mr. Williams was a retired veteran from the United States Marine Corps after 30 years of service.
