Macye Davis Lester , age 89 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Spencer and Mildred Lee Davis. Mrs. Lester was also preceded in death by her husband Loyd L. Lester who died in 1990, an infant son, Mark Lester who died in 1960, and a sister, Grace Graves who died in 2008.

Mrs. Lester is survived by her sons, Lanier "Lannie" Lester and his wife Rita of Milton, TN, Terry Lester and his wife Gayla of Bradyville, TN, and Edward (Beth) Lester of Sparta, TN; daughters, Emily Pomrenke and her husband Richard of Magnolia, AR, Jessie Mary Morris and her husband Andrew of Fredricksburg, VA, and Edna McPeak and her husband George of Ft. Worth, TX; brother Allen Davis of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, Gerald, Todd, Stephen, Marshall, and Madeline Lester, Jason McPeak, Stephanie Balvin, Lauren and Drew Morris, and Conrad Pomrenke; great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Carson Lester, Ashlyn and Paxtyn McPeak.

Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00 Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Mike Gann officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Lester was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ in Smyrna and a homemaker.
