MABLE PARSLEY MILLER MALONE, age 91, of Christiana died Monday, September 28, 2009. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Will and Vassie Watson Parsley. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Albert Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Miller of Murfreesboro, Grant Miller of Shelbyville, sister, Margaret Parsley Durham of Murfreesboro, seven grandchildren, Gwen (Phillip) Barrett of Shelbyville, Robyn (Jeff) Pike of Murfreesboro, Kathleen (Mitchell) Batey of Glasgow, KY, Jo Ann (Dale) Nash of Murfreesboro, three step grandchildren, William M. (Ganelle) Miller, Jr, Eva Frances (Elijah) Brown, Linda (Joe) Dickens, 21 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Harvey Miller, Sr, and William Malone. Mrs. Malone attended Christiana High School and was a member of the Christiana Baptist Church. She was a Food Service employee at Community Care of Rutherford County before her retirement. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
