Mabel Francis Miller, age 93, of Smyrna, died Monday, May 22, 2012 at Waterford Assisted Living. Mrs. Miller is the daughter of the late Johnnie F. and Melinda Caruthers Mullins. She is also preceded in death by her husband Frank Doc Miller, Jr. who died in 2007; and siblings Buford, Howard, Jennie, Mildred, Mary and Andrew Mullins, and Annie Stephens. Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughter Shirley (Joe) Davis of Gladeville; sons Herbert (Linda) Miller of Lewisburg, Jerry (Roberta) Miller of Smyrna, Alfred (Amy) Miller of Smyrna, Randal (Debbie) Miller of Murfreesboro, and Wendal (Sham) Miller of Murfreesboro; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Miller retired from General Electric and was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ. She is also a lifetime member of Pleasure Walking Horse Association of Tennessee. Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Friday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Mullins will officiate. Pallbearers will be Andy Collins, John Miller, Mark Davis, Courtne Elrod, Scott Salmons, John Morgan, Kent Mullins, and Tommy Ladd. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna. Memorials may be made to the Sam Davis Home in memory of Mrs. Miller.
