Lynndale Harper age 72 of Lavergne, TN formerly of Cadiz, KY died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center surrounded by immediate family. Mr. Harper was a native of Lyon County, KY and the son of the late Roy Lynn and Ada Thelma Harper. He was a retired Maintenance Suprintendent for Bruce Hardwood Flooring and a member of Parkway Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday at Parkway Baptist Church in Smyrna with Bro. Dan Parker assisted by Danny Guess and Earl Wilson officiating . Burial will follow in Hurricane Baptist Church Cemetery in Cadiz, KY at 3:00 pm. Mr. Harper is survived by his wife of 51 years Dotty Jane Harper of Lavergne; three sons Lanny (Christel) Harper of Chapel Hill, TN; Shawn (Ginny) Harper of Benton, KY and Dana (Alicia) Harper of Murfreesboro, TN; six grandchildren Carissa (Ron) Obney of Springhill, TN and LeAndra, Erika, Megan, Audree and Declan Harper; two great grandchildren Morgan and Mason Obney; two sisters and one brother. Visitation will be 4 until 8 oclock pm Thursday at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna and from 2 until 3 oclock pm Friday at the Hurricane Baptist Church in Cadiz, KY.
