Dr. Lynn Kreider, age 74 of Lascassas, TN passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at St. Thomas
Rutherford Hospital. He was a native of Lancaster, PA and son of the late Vernon and Edna Kreider.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janice Kreider; his children Juleen Joseph, Damon Kreider and
Dirk Kreider; his grandchildren Monica Joseph, Kieley Marvel, Jack Kreider and Charlie Kreider.

Dr. Kreider was a decorated military veteran receiving the bronze star, and retired as Senior Master
Sergeant from the United States Air Force. He was also an accomplished college president, most
recently retired from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Murfreesboro and Smyrna.

Dr. Kreider was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who always went above and beyond for
his family. He was well known for his phenomenal creations in the kitchen and his ability to fix
anything under the sun. He enjoyed spending time outside in his garden, tinkering in his workshop
and watching sci-fi movies with his love, Janice. He was a pillar of the community and loved by many;
he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
