Lynda (Winky) Faye Logan, age 75 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee died Friday, June 19, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Maryville, Tennessee and a daughter of the late Forster Winkler and Dorothy Imogene Phillips Winkler.
She was a loving wife to her husband of 57 years, Ernest (Doc) Logan; a caring mother to her sons Andrew Logan and wife Kristy, Aaron Logan and wife Jessica; and a guiding light to granddaughters Adalley Logan, Loraley Logan, and Kate Logan.
Winky was a member of several lineage societies including United Daughters of the Confederacy Chapter #91 where she served as a chapter president, Daughters of the American Revolution Captain William Lytle serving as a chapter regent, Daughters of the American Colonists Middle Plantation holding the position of state regent, Daughters of 1812 Brigadier John Colfey serving as a chapter officer, and Colonial Dames Salmon Creek serving as state president. She was also a member of the National Society Daughters of the Union Julie Ann Marcum, Daughters of Colonial Wars, Daughters of Indian Wars, Ancient Planters, Descendants of Early Quakers, and First Families of Maryland.
Visitation with the Logan family will be at Woodfin Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 12:00 pm until the time of funeral services beginning at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
