Lydia Kaye Graves went peacefully in her sleep on Monday November 17, 2014 to meet her Lord and Savior. She had known of Him her whole life; but only came to put her trust in Him just a month before. That is when she truly found peace for the first time in her life. Although restricted to bed rest she found hope and joy in Jesus. As she fought the cancer she always kept a great attitude and positive outlook. She never complained even though she had some dark days. Those who knew her best know of her kind, sweet, loving spirit. She always put others first. She will be greatly missed. Lydia was born on October 11, 1944 to Malcom and Wilma Graves. She was the oldest of three children. She is survived by her sister, Mary Lynn Marshall of Beechgrove and brother, Glen Allen Graves and his wife Wanda of Gallatin. Lydia is also survived by her daughter, Lori Fanning and husband Ken; grandson, Colton Fanning. Celebration of Lydia's life will be Saturday December 6, 2014 from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at her daughter's home. Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements www.woodfinchapel.com
