Lydia Irene Hayes Allred, age 90 of LaVergne went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, July 6, 2017. She was born on April 12, 1927 in Livingston, TN. She was raised and resided in Fentress County until 1996 when she moved to Rutherford County to be close to family. She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and her family.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Charlie Wright and Donna Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Rev. Harles V. "Bob" Allred, son, Danny (wife Linda) Allred of Murfreesboro, daughter, Linda (late husband David) Wright of LaVergne, grandchildren, Toni Poole, Charlie Wright, Heather Walper, Scot (wife Tonya) Wright, Joy Wright, Lori (husband David) Howell, 15 great grandchildren, Garrett (wife Ashton) Wright, Emily, Haley, Matthew, Gracie, Megan, Abby, CJ, Sam, Autumn, Alexis, Anthony, Brandon, Austin, Caitlyn and a great great grandson expected in September, Grayson Dakota as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, I.D. and Pearlie Chapman Hayes, 9 brothers and sisters, her son-in-law, David Wright, and grandson, John Wright.

Mrs. Allred was a member of Lighthouse Wesleyan Church in LaVergne.
