Lucille Morgan Speck, age 88, of Murfreesboro, died January 29, 2015. She was a native of Cannon County, and daughter of the late Sam and Wiley Hurest Morgan. A graveside service will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday January 31 at Evergreen Cemetery with Doyle Hayes and Larry Nobles officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Speck is survived by sons, Bobby Speck of Murfreesboro, and Ronnie (Pat) Speck of Murfreesboro; sisters, Bonnie Rooker and Judy (Tommy) King both of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Kris Messick and Gregg Speck; step grandchildren, Lori Lynn and Glenn Finney; great grandchildren, Matthew and MaKayla Speck; and nieces, Shannon and Renee King, Paulette Rooker, and Brenda Tarpley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kato Speck, a brother Sammie Morgan, and a sister, Edith Lorene Morgan. Mrs. Speck was a former employee of Samsonite, and a member of the Baptist Faith.
