Lucille Rich Robinson, age 84, of Murfreesboro, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 13, 2015. A native of Rutherford County she was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Lillie Armstrong Rich; husband, Freeland Robinson; brother, Jake "JC" Rich; and sisters, Mamie Rich, Magalene Williams and Lillie Harris. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Mike Norris will officiate. Burial will follow in Robinson Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her sons, Ray Robinson and his wife Susan, Earl Robinson and his wife Pat, Stanley Robinson and his wife Margie, and Jerry Robinson and his wife Patty; daughters, Thelma Shockey and her husband Wayne and Brenda Willis and her husband Buckwheat; sisters, Ruth Shroat, Marie Campbell, Martha Herrod and her husband Charles, and Barbara Barnes; brother, Jessie Smith and his wife Brenda; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church. Boyd Willis, Jerry Robinson Jr., Austin Robinson, Dane Hartman, Brian Lowhorn and Paul Thomason will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
