Lt. Col. Eugene E. Fudge, age 79 devoted husband and father, left this world on July 27, 2016 to meet his Savior and loved ones who had gone to heaven before him. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Dean Sisk officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00 until 7:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Fudge is survived by daughter, Carla Lewis and husband Rusty; granddaughter, Ashley Lewis; grandson, Tanner Lewis; son-in-law, James Dunn; grandson, Brett Dunn; granddaughter, Paige Dunn; sister, Suzanne Robertson of Texarkana, TX  and sister-in-law; Helen Garrison and husband Henry of Sequin, TX. He is preceded in death by his wife Jan Fudge who died November 2015, a daughter, Millie Sue Dunn, and granddaughters, Katie and Erin Dunn.

Big Daddy was one in a million. His positivity and kind heart allowed him to overcome many adversities. Serving two tours in Vietnam and being awarded many honors such as a Distinguished Flying Cross and a Purple Heart, his true heroism was displayed through the love for his wife. He was a member of Belle Aire Baptist.
