LOYD EARL RICHARDSON age 79 of Murfreesboro, went to be with his Lord and Savior April 5, 2012. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Walter and Rosielee Scantland Richardson. He is also preceded in death by a brother Charles Willard Richardson. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, with Ralph Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife of 24 years Linda Poland Richardson, and his eight children, daughter Betty (Roger) McRae, son Bubba (Connie) Richardson, son Randall (Donna) Richardson, son Bobby Richardson, daughter Lisa Richardson all of Murfreesboro, daughter Dana Richardson of Nashville, son Troy (Vickie) Lewis, son Brian Lewis all of Murfreesboro, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and special friend Pat Lewis of Murfreesboro. He is also survived by his two sisters, Willene Stone, Dimple Richardson both of Murfreesboro, and his two brothers Robert (Mary) Richardson of Walter Hill, and James (Dot) Richardson of Murfreesboro. Mr. Richardson was retired from G.E. as an Engineer. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel.
