LOYD RICHARD MORRIS, SR, age 76, of Smyrna, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009. He was a native of Davidson County and the son of the late Malcolm and Mable Herd Morris. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Lee Wright Morris who died in March. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Rev. Buddy Royston will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his children, Maxine Poteete of Adams TN, Loyd Morris, Jr. of LaVergne, Ronda Leedy of LaVergne, Sherrill Ragland of Liberty, Loretta Endicott of Woodbury, Michael Morris of LaVergne, brother, Floyd Morris of Nashville, sister, Margie Deghardt of MI, 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
