Louise Leonard Tomberlain, age 89 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022. She was born September 25, 1932, in Clay County TN. Louise was the daughter of Carl and Maudie Davis Leonard. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jack Tomberlain and her daughter Jullie Harris; sisters, Sophie Tipton Haislip, and Willow Dean Leonard; and brothers, Eugene, and Floyd Leonard.

Louise is survived by granddaughter, Misty Marlin and her husband Ricky of Christiana, TN; grandson, Mickey Harris and his wife Crystal of Christiana, TN; great-grandchildren, Luke and Annabelle Marlin, and Mikayla and Jackson Harris; son-in-law, Eddie Harris of Murfreesboro, TN; sister-in-law, Juanita Leonard of Smyrna, TN; and many nieces and nephews.

Louise was a Lifelong member of the Walter Hill Church of Christ. She was also a wonderful singer that performed many years with her sister Sophie and her husband Carl on The Carl Tipton Show. Louise was also a hairstylist in the Leanna Community for many years. She loved music, her family, and the Lord.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Paul Norwood and Brother Jim Creech officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Stones River Manor for being like family to her for the past seven years.
