Louise Robinson, age 86, departed this life to join the heavenly chorus on December 15, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Dewey Lynn Robinson, who died in 2011. She is survived by her daughters Sherry Robinson of Murfreesboro; Jo Ann Collier and her husband, Sterling of Aurora Illinois; grandchildren, Joshua Collier and his wife, Terra, Jessica Collier Wakefield and husband Alex, Allison Collier Sabosta and her husband, Nicholas; five great-granddaughters and one great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews and spiritual family members at Northfield Boulevard Church of Christ where she had attended since 1989. Louise was married to Lynn during his leave from the Navy in 1946. After his discharge, she traveled with him throughout the South, either in starting new newspapers or reorganizing existing ones. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother David Bunting officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
