Louis Wayne Roberts , age 68 of LaVergne, TN, passed way Tuesday April 18, 2017. A native of Hardin, KY, he was the son of the late Louis H. and Catherine Holder Roberts Rogers. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Stanley, and his grandparents, J. E. and Annie Holder.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Nellie Warrick Roberts of LaVergne, TN; son, Bubba Roberts and his wife Lori of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Cindy Roberts Warrick of LaVergne, TN, and Jessica Churchwell and her husband Lance of Lebanon, TN; grandchildren, Garrett Roberts of Smyrna, TN, Chase Roberts of Murfreesboro, TN, and Aubrey Churchwell of Lebanon, TN; great-grandson, Jaxon Roberts of Smyrna, TN; brothers, Randy Roberts and David Rogers both of Lebanon, TN; sisters, Gladys Holley of LaVergne, TN and Janice Roberts of Nashville, TN; special nephew, Charles Brewer of Murfreesboro, TN.

Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with Pastor Danny Sellars officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with grandsons, family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Roberts was of the Baptist faith and was a retired truck driver with Trans Force Trucking Company.
