Lorraine F. King, age 93 of Murfreesboro, died Monday, March 16, 2015. She was a native of Ann Arbor, Michigan and a daughter of the late Leroy and Eleanor Clark Mason. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Robert Oberfelder and Robert A. King and a brother Dean C. Mason. Mrs. King is survived by her children, Norman M. King and wife Mary of Lighthouse Point, FL, Ruth King Howard and fiancé Jimmy Burris of Murfreesboro, TN, Ellenrose Hart and husband Ron of Houston, TX, Roberta L. Schmidt and husband Jack of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Kate Cortright of Grand Rapids, MI; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Mrs. King was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and had worked as a community service organizer for a non-profit agency. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2303 Jones Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
