Lorene Hendrix Sharpe, age 88, formerly of Murfreesboro died Friday, June 20, 2014 in Mason, OH. She was a native of Eagleville and the daughter of the late Sam Houston and Rose Vaughan Hendrix. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Hollie Sharpe and her daughter, Deborah Kay Sharpe. Funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Hollie L. Sharpe will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. She is survived by her son, Hollie L. Sharpe and his wife Anna of Liberty Township, OH, sister, Jean Covington of Murfreesboro, grandchildren, Haley Rose Sharpe and Samuel Tanner Sharpe, both of Liberty Township, OH. Mrs. Sharpe was a member of the First Church of God in Murfreesboro. Memorials may be made to Family Connections Inc. - Hope Hill Children's Home at PO Box 257 Mt. Sterling KY, 40353 in memory of Mrs. Sharpe. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
