LORENE EVELYN BLANKS, age 75 of Smyrna died August 22, 2008 at her home. She was a native of Rutherford County and was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Thelma Williams Christopher, and her late husband, William Blanks. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Bro. Terry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2PM to 7PM Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. She is survived by her children, Michael Blanks of Arrington, Donna Blanks of Smyrna, Betty Blanks of Smyrna, Aubrey Blanks of Smyrna; Brothers, John and Wesley Christopher of Murfreesboro; Sisters, Betty Tucker of Arrington, and Dorothy Christopher of Murfreesboro; Grandchildren, Rusty Blanks, Amy Heath, Makenzie Blanks; Great-grandchildren, Austin and Angel Heath and James Blanks. Mrs. Blanks was a member of Giles Creek Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna is in charge of arrangements. 459-3254
