Lora D. (Clarkson) Couto age 51 of Readyville, Tennessee was called home by Great Spirit to the Great Mystery Beyond on August 23, 2020.

A loving wife and mother she is survived by her husband of 20 years, Thad Couto; her son, Marshall Couto; her brother and sister in law, Michael and Renee Clarkson; and a sister, Shelly Clarkson.

She was part Lakota Sioux and honored their traditions. She attended art school in Indiana where she was born and was an exceptionally talented and prolific artist who did drawings, paintings, and original quilts. She also made her own clothes. She loved birds and fed and watched them every day.
