LOLA TARTER MEADOWS, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, her beloved husband, Leon and son Weyman Lee on Wednesday morning, June 17, 2009. Mrs. Meadows was 89 years old. She was a native of Ozark, Ala. and daughter of the late Ewell and Winnie Gaultney Tarter. Mrs. Meadows was a member of the Kingwood Heights Church of Christ and had lived in Murfreesboro for the past 55 years. Funeral services 10 am Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Charles Mullins and Bro. Tony Holt officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery in Manchester, Tn. at 12:30 pm Friday. She is survived by sons and daughters in law, Joey and Janet Meadows of Columbia, Doug and Teresa Meadows of Birmingham, Ala.; daughter and son in law, Joanne and Adair Lowe of Murfreesboro; nine grandchildren, Michele Scott, Beth Workman, Joey Meadows, Ashley Meadows, Bradley Meadows, Gina Lennon, Sherry Patterson, Phillip Meadows and David Meadows, twelve great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be J. B. Hollis, Bradley Meadows . Johnnie Bass, Adair Lowe, Frank Therber, Chris Garner.
