LOLA HALL CARVALHO, age 92, of Murfreesboro, died January 19, 2010. Mrs. Carvalho was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Kenneth and Evie Lee Pate Hall. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Julian Goodpaster officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Carvalho is survived by sons, Danton Hall Carvalho, Murfreesboro and Nelson Hall Carvalho, Knoxville; a brother, Harold Hall, Eagleville; sisters, Anna Logue, Murfreesboro and Helen Brown, Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Bradford, Jennifer, and Nicos Carvalho and a great grandchild, Savannah Carvalho. Mrs. Carvalho was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ, and a retired secretary for the State of Tennessee. She was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and was active in Professional Secretaries International. She was also active in missions to Honduras, a volunteer for Hospice, and tutored children thru RNSVP.
