Obituary

Lloyd Edward Teague age 86 of Bruceton, TN, died Wednesday July 27, 2011 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home. A native of Parsons, TN, he was the son of the late Delbert Ander and Ruby Ray Wilkins Teague. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Jean Birdwell Teague. Mr. Teague is survived by a son, Charles Stephen Teague and his wife Ann of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Susan Rae Ford and her husband Jimmy of Hollow Rock, TN, and Alisa Teague Stampley and her husband David of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, James Rex Teague and his wife Lila Faye of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Matthew and Ben Teague, Jennifer Ballard, Michael Pierce, Kimberly Agent, Robert Bridges, Blake, Claire and Maddox Stampley and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Chase Funeral Home, Huntingdon, TN with Rev. Noel Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery with Matthew and Ben Teague, Maddox and Claire Stampley, Michael and Alan Pierce serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Stampley, Larry Teague, Robert Bridges, and Kimberly Agent. Mr. Teague was a US Army veteran having served in WW II, a member of First Baptist Church in Bruceton, TN and retired office manager from Carroll County Electric Department after 55 years of service. He was a Mason and a member of the Bruceton Masonic Lodge # 731 and a member of the VFW Post 4349 in Hollow Rock-McKenzie TN.
