Lizzie Ferrell Hall, age 87 of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday surrounded by her family. She was a native of Woodbury and a daughter of the late George and Ruby Melton Ferrell. She was also preceded by her husband, Robert Chance, a daughter, Ruby Gail Mobley, and four brothers.

Mrs. Hall is survived by children, Linda (Gary) Clark of LaVergne, Peggy (Earl) Smith of Nashville, Robbie (Khosrow) Heshmati of Bellevue,  Clara (Danny) Trotter of McMinnville, Teresa Black (Steve Chapman) of Tullahoma, and Wanda (Sam) Holt of Morrison; a sister, Liza B. Wilson of Smyrna; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Joe McKinney will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery in Greenbrier, TN.
