Lisa Veal, age 49 of Smyrna, passed away from a sudden illness Thursday, February 20, 2014 at StoneCrest Medical Center. She was a native of Ithaca, NY and was a 1983 graduate of Smyrna High School. Lisa was a cake decorator at the Baskin-Robbins in Smyrna. Mrs. Veal is survived by her husband Ronny Veal and their son Robert Veal; mother and father Lori and Bob Thompson of LaVergne; sisters Ann Watts and her husband Kendal of Watertown, Tara Spradley and her husband Scott of Smyrna and Christine Middleton and her husband Matt of Virginia. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Thompson. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 1:00pm until the time of memorial services beginning at 3:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
