LINUS YOUNGBLOOD BLANTON CARNEY age 84 of Murfreesboro, died Monday April 19, 2010. A native of Centertown, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Nora Davenport Youngblood. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. David Dunn will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Leland Watts, Shane Swift, Matt Swift, Troy Blanton, Jacob Blanton, Roy Douglas, Trey Alsup, Jarrod Ward and Dennis Carney. Mrs. Carney is survived by her husband B.F. Carney, sons Ronald (Linda) Blanton of Lascassas, Steve (Lois) Blanton of Murfreesboro, Dennis Carney, daughter Linda Carney both of Nashville, and grandchildren Tammy (Shane) Swift of Milton, Troy (Crystal) Blanton of Lascassas, Mary (Griffis) Holland, Jasmine Blanton both of Murfreesboro, great grandchildren Ashley Lynne and Matthew Swift, Jacob and Natalie Blanton and a sister Treva (Roy) Douglas of Winchester. She was preceded in death by her first husband James Blanton and a Grandson Johnathan Blanton. Mrs. Carney was a retired nurse from the Alvin C. York Medical Center.
