LINDA JEAN THOMPSON, age 66, of Smyrna, TN died Tuesday, June 30, 2009. She was a native of Antioch, TN and the daughter of Minnie Wagoner Hill. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Brother Milton Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Mapleview Cemetery. She is survived by her three sons Donnie Thompson of Smryna, Bobby Thompson of LaVergne and Jeff and Dr. Mindy Thompson of Nashville, her grandchildren, William, Taylor, Niki, Robby, Tyler, Tinsley and Hunter, her brothers, Ernie Hill and Jerry Wayne Hill both of Nashville and her sisters Gayle Carter of Smyrna and Rebba Riddle of LaVergne. She is preceded in death by her brother Joe Hill. Mrs. Thompson was a member at Mt. View Baptist Church but recently attended Living Springs Baptist Church. She was a rehab assistant with the Tennessee Rehabilitation Center for 30 years before she retired. Her family will serve as pallbearers.
