Linda Shupp, age 72 of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Gaithersburg, MD, died Tuesday, October 8, 2019. She was a native of Seattle, WA and was the daughter of the late Don Conger and Mary Jane Royes Sowers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Shupp who died in 2015.

Survivors include sons, Bill Shupp and his wife Tamara of Murfreesboro, and James Shupp and his wife Angie of Shrewsbury, PA; brother, Don Sowers and his wife Barbara of Ashville, NC; sisters, Pat Putnins and her husband Mike of Seattle, WA and Barb Bernadini and her husband Roger of Seattle, WA; nine grandchildren, Kyleigh Bowers, Ava Bowers, Kylie Shupp, Patrick Shupp, Kamryn Shupp, Isabel Bowers, Jessica Shupp, Brooke Shupp, and Cacey Shupp; along with much loving extended family.

Linda enjoyed traveling with family and often spent weeks every summer road tripping around the United States. Linda adored her grandchildren and took pride in passing on family traditions and recipes to them.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, October 25, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life beginning at 4:00 p.m. all at Blackman United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro, TN.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
