Linda Kay Hamlett Riley, age 58, of Smyrna, TN, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 17, 2018. She was born December 20, 1959 and was preceded in death by her father, Charles W. Hamlett Sr.

She is survived by her mother, Claudette Hamlett; daughter, Sonnie Alena Riley; grandson, Jacob Dalton Haley; sisters, Cindy Davis and her husband Mike, and Brenda Butts and her husband David; brothers, Charles Hamlett Jr. and his wife Sherry; Bennie Hamlett and his wife Connie; special friend, David Curlin; along with several nieces and nephews.

Linda graduated from Holloway High School in 1978. She worked at Betterbilt for several years then was a site coordinator with World Wide Technology. Linda loved sun tanning and playing a good game of pool. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Brother Larry Swaim and Tim Lavender will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Dalton Hamlett, Peyton Hamlett, Dusty Hamlett, David Butts, Charlie Hamlett and Benny Hamlett will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials in memory of Linda can be made to Murfreesboro Alive Hospice.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service time all at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
